Lakes
These are the locations I tend to love for families, couples, maternity sessions and anyone wanting that relaxed, natural feel. Merbein Salt Lake and Lake Hawthorn have that beautiful open, country feel with plenty of space to move around. They work beautifully with my relaxed style of shooting, walking, playing, cuddling and letting the kids explore rather than trying to keep everyone perfectly still. And when the light is good out here… it is very good.

Perry Sandhills
If you want something a little different, Perry Sandhills is pretty hard to beat.
The huge sandy landscape gives photos a really clean, timeless feel and the colours around sunset are beautiful. It's especially gorgeous for maternity, couples and families who aren't afraid of taking their shoes off and getting a little sandy.

Koorlong Wetlands
A beautiful option if you love earthy colours, long grasses and a more natural bush setting. There is plenty of variety here without having to move too far, which also makes it a great option for families with younger kids.

Mildura Riverfront
You really can't talk about Mildura photo locations without including the river.
The riverfront gives us beautiful gums, greenery, water and that unmistakable Murray River feel. There are also plenty of different little pockets to choose from depending on the season and the light.

Kings Billabong
One of those classic Sunraysia landscapes.
River gums, water, bushland and plenty of gorgeous pockets of light make Kings Billabong a really versatile location for family and maternity sessions.
