Groom Prep… some want it captured, some don’t.. Personally, as a bride, I wanted to look back and see those moments of my husband preparing for the day nearly more then my own bride prep..
Here are a few little tips to help you whilst preparing for your day!
Have all of the details prepped and ready to go for when your photographer arrives.
-Make sure all shirts/suits are ironed.
-Boutonnieres, ties, socks, cufflinks, watches are all laid out in one area.
Another way to make sure you stay on schedule is to have someone designated to put the boutonnieres on the groomsmen and help tie their ties/bowties. This can sometimes take a great deal of time, so having someone designated to this role is a big help. More often than not the photographer and/or videographer end up helping out, which takes time away from their schedule. Also, if you have special gifts/gift boxes to give to your groomsmen; don't give out until your photographer arrives so they can capture the moment.
Writing letters to each other on the day is such a beautiful idea. It gives you both a minute to pause from the days excitement; and reflect on what the day is all about; your love. Plus; it allows your photographer to capture sweet moments you'll want to remember forever.
Typically men don’t like to show emotion, but I can guarantee, this is this time they will and you will want it captured. trust me.
